What's OnFriday July 1st 'A Night at The Opera'
Most people came to the night in long summer dresses and bow tie for the gents, but there is no dress code. Bring a rug or small picnic table (some even had candles) and park near the lake or riverbank for a little supper. Excellent English wine at £7 per bottle all soft drinks are 50p there are two large barbeques with delicious Cumberland sausages and 6oz pure beef burgers. This is a charity event for a disabled facility in our church hall and a raffle for the Life Boat Institution for a new shore base life boat station on shore to house the new hovercraft. At Southend
